Are you saying during the day, your bird has no seed or pellets to
munch on? Birds need to 'snack' during the day, which is actually
how humans should eat for prime energy and health. I don't mean 'junk
food' snack, but they should have food available to them all day, as
birds normallly don't gorge themselves like humans do, and frequent
small meals are best for them.
