Albert,

What are you trying to do, and what is it doing?

Hunter

Hunter,

I'm having trouble entering addresses as they are listed by some of
our chapter members that live on county roads. I brought this up with
Garmin and she suggested I try various different ways to enter them. I
was told to "experiment" to see what works. She also admitted that my
unit sometimes has problems with County Road addresses. Example;
30 County Road XXXX and I get a message that it's not recognized. That
has happened on three or four addresses. One other thing is that I do
not have the original AC charger and I have to use the computer USB to
charge the unit up but while doing so it will only give a charge
window and I cannot open the program up as I did with the AC charger.
That means that while I'm using the unit I have to rely on batteries
alone while loading in addresses. I ordered a new charger today. But
anyway I'm just going to kick back and wait for the new charger to get
here.

If you can find their homes on Google Earth you will automatically get
the latitude-longitude to enter into the Garmin.

Will that work?
LZ

Like LZ says, you can find them on Google Earth. I've also found that in some cases the city that the person says they live in is not the city that the Garmin will find them in. :-)
