Hi Don,
Dave's attempt at humor obviously went over like
a fart in a diving bell or a prison holding cell full
of folks waiting to be arraigned.
He needed to apologize in a sincere manner
and this week he did. Maybe a tad late but
he did do the right thing. He knew it was the
right thing and said so. His words. He is a much
better person and man because of it.
So that brings us to you, Don. Owen McKenzie
is a very sincere, honest and forthright person here.
I don't read all of the threads here so I have been
wondering why Owen keeps asking you to apologize
to Gwen.
Then someone in this thread provided the link to
the thread with your unkind off base rant about her
and her son. People that for their own personal reasons
are trying to shine the light of truth on a nasty medical
condition and help awareness to solving issues with it.
So far, in that regard, you have shown us, Don, that
David Letterman is more of a decent person and
real man than yourself.
I salute Dave for his late apology. Your turn, Don!
When will you stand up with Dave and be a real man?
While your at it you could also stop your constant
ad hominem nasty cracks and apologize to Carl for
your low liver can remarks.
Here, Don. I will start. If I have ever offended you in
any way please tell me what it is and I will apologize
here in public for it. In fact, that offer is also good for
anyone here short of mindless and redundent landfill
trolls.
This should go way beyond politics. We have decent,
very smart and talented people in this forum. We should
be able to at least agree to disagree without slinging
low class remarks at the drop of a hat. Or also constantly
making up mindless excuses for base off color remarks
by politicians and their talking heads on TV. People in
this forum are mostly "good" underneath the rant. There
is always something I call the 5% factor and if you want
I will be happy to give you my No PC theory on that.
