At the recommendation of several here I've switched from IE to Firefox as my primary browser. On the Adobe PDF window there is an icon for saving the file. I have even made a folder for "my PDF Files" in "My Documents"
There some things I don't like, but I'm learning.
One problem I have is when a browser window opens a PDF file which happens when I get a new credit card bill. I like to download them, convert them to .txt, save the PDF & use the .txt to compare the paper receipts I have.
The problem is that the browser window I come from has a title bar that starts "file edit view history" etc., which makes it easy to accomplish the save. But when I click on the "view statement on the CC company's page it opens a new window without those options.
What do I need to do so I can download my statements? Now I'm opening an IE window, but I don't want to do that.
