Hi Gang,
The built in radio in my trailer is a Sony... AM/FM and a cassette
player... it's almost as obsolete as brass hardware <g>
I decided to buy a new JVC KD-HDR50 http://mobile.jvc.com/hdradio.jsp
One of many reasons I like this one is because I can put all my music
on a Flash drive and simply plug the flash into the USB port on the
radio and play my tunes.
Do any of you do that now? I ask because I'm wondering if I can pick
and choose songs or does it just play them in the order I put them on
the flash.
10 minutes after I ordered the one for the trailer I ordered one for
the truck too....

I used to have a similar model in my truck (its the only thing I miss about
the truck since selling it). Using a flash drive, it would let you choose
either playing in order, or random play. Of course, you could scroll thru
the drive and find an individual song you liked too. For me, the really
nice thing about the usb was that you could plug in your mp3 player (or
iPod) and control it with the radio buttons, unlike the "aux" plug that is
on the front panel. That aux plug lets you plug in your mp3 player, but you
must control it from the player itself. I found that difference to be a
pain in the ass.
