We had one from 2002 to 2006 but don't remember the brand. We bought it at campin world. It performed absolutely great but charger bytnt out and couldn't find another.
Have the standard house system which has terrific suction but no brushes and a very stiff and heavy tube to strech from one end to the other of the coach.
Whee can we get one?
i have a built in cavuum system in my motorhome (prolly the only one in england, built it my self from a bagless pull along vacuum, few bits of gutter pipe, and the proper connections inside the motorhome)
anyhoo, i have a turbo brush on the end of my wand, and having a dog and 4 fancy rats in the motorhome, i need the revolving brush attatchment,
the turbo brush uses the vacuum power to run it, sounds like a small turbine running, which i guess it is inside it, basicaly the vacuum rushing past the vanes turns them, which drives the belt to run the brushes, runs entirely off the vacuum, so no electrical connections needed,
my hose is lightweight too, i recall i had a choice of 3 or 4 'duty' types when i bought the internal bits, i went for the light duty stretch hose, and havent broken it in 4 years of every day use whilst camping,
weighs about the same as the hose on a pull along cylinder vacuum, but stretches to about 5 times the length, not that i need that, as i have a tiddly (by american standards) motorhome, at 23 foot bumper to bumper, and i put in 2 vacuum points.
Before i put the central vacuum system in, i went through a few of those rechargeable vacuums, never found one that didnt burn the charger up or kill the battery within a few months of use (maybe i overused them hoovering up cross collie dog hairs)
and of course the suction is abysmal compared to the centeral vacuum, and the brush speed on the battery models is about a quarter of what my turbo brush rotates at.
cats. Whenever we'd use a regular vacuum, it would stink pretty bad. The
central unit vents to outside. We also have a nice light weight hose that
stretches to entire length of the MH. There is only one inlet, but is it kind
of in the middle of the MH. The problem is that when it is stretched
out, it whistles real loud. We have to put a few bends in it to prevent the
noise. Also, the nice looking turbo beater brush that we bought is pure
crap. It clogs up with cat hair after only a few minutes of vacuuming. I've
emailed the company complaining about their product and have never
heard back from them .... I guess they don't care. So, I am looking for
something different (and better). I am interested in what
you used on your system in England.
