That, to me, is a big gun. I don't want to participate in a global war, I just want to protect myself if someone breaks in and I'm there. I think a pistol of some sort will do me fine. Assault weapons are not my thing.

Mine either - for self-defense - but I sure like to shoot 'em.

Theory don't mean squat if it don't work.

You'd really have a blast playing with dynamite.

Max

Yep, I most likely would. Back when I was a kid when you could make pipe bombs without everybody getting all worked up, I filled short pipes with cherry bomb powder. That wasn't dynamite, but it was close enough for a kid.

Those were the days. A kid could go buy cherry bombs, pipe, pipe caps, and dynamite fuse, and nobody blinked an eye. And nobody got hurt. But a bunch of frogs in the drainage ditch bit the dust. Frogs all over the place - in all sorts of anatomical configurations ranging from mostly unidentifiable to probably just unconscious.

I'll bet a psychiatrist would find that interesting.
I know a guy who got pissed at a cat so he buried it up to its head and ran over it with a lawn mower.
He was interesting in a psychiatric sort of way. <G>

I've run over toads and frogs with a lawnmower. At least that's what the remains looked like they were.

Intentionally? They just wouldn't get out of the way?
Or were they collateral damage of a mowing operation that was critical?

Max (I warn the critters first.........................if I see them)

I didn't see the damthings. Hell, I've run over bricks, garden hoses, and extension cords.
