Just as you have seen in the replies, there is no set rule for how far to travel in a day. That's the good thing about RVing, no schedule!! Our shortest travel day has been 50 miles. (there is one in this group that traveled all of 7 miles on one move. ;-)) The longest leg of any trip without stopping was 900 miles from Atlanta, GA to El Reno, OK when on a 2 week vacation with kids years ago when we still worked. We planned a trip to see sites in AZ that year and had already seen most sites along that route before AZ. On average over the 38 years we had an RV, we traveled 200 to 300 miles per day. Our last trip from Atlanta to California, with many visiting stops along the way, took 7 1/2 weeks! :-)

7 1/2 weeks? That was a trip. I'd love to rent out or sell this place and live on the road for awhile. :-) I'm at the age where I don't want the responsibility of a house and land anymore, or pets for that matter. The kids are grown and gone, the pets grew old and died and we're free to travel now. Other plans for this summer is visiting a cousin and his family near Atlanta (Peachtree City area) and my widowed SILs in Fla. Any good CGs you'd recommend near the north side of PT City?
Our longest non-stop trip was from Nashville to NYC with only a few pit-stops. We drove right through the night w/the van - a distance of about 1000 miles.
