It's like this.
We don't hope that the man fails. We hope his policies are seen for

He has decided that he should "remake" this country. That is
unfortunate. He has never done anything in his career that would give
one the impression that he has the background to do this. What he wants
to make it into is a government run nannyism.
All of his plans (and those of his congressional cohorts) is to tear
down everything that works (with high taxes) and replace it with
something managed at least as well as medicaid and social security.
Socialism (collectivism) has never worked. It has failed every place
and time it has been tried.
We conservatives (some are still republicans, but fewer each day) are
really hoping the the great economic power house that this country once
was, survives at all.
For that to happen, people have to be free.
Free to do what is effective for the situation.
Not constrained to do what some third party believes is "Politically
Correct".
Not prevented from buying and drive vehicles that they choose to drive.
Free to choose what they do about their own situation.
There are guarantied rights.
The right to pursue happiness - we'll get back to this
The right to free speech - Under attack
The right to bear arms - Under attack
The right to a free media (sorry - long gone - ended under Johnson)
The right to freely associate - now only if it is a liberal cause
The right to practice the religion of your choice
And not have radical Islam shoved down your children's throat
A true right can not cause an obligation of another person.
The Constitution does not provide (even if you think it should):
A right to education
A right to wonderful housing
A right to medical care
A right to be provided for when you choose to stay out in the storm
A right to disobey the law if you don't agree with it
I'm just hoping that I don't live long enough to see the full results of
his plans come to be. I want to remember a great country.
Brilliantly summarized, even without mentioning that the Obama
approach is virtually identical to the program laid out and tried by
Karl Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, Mao and a host of vicious bastards
like them.
You morons who think "Marxist" or "Communist" are just name-calling
demonstrate your ignorance of the truth. The once-great USA has
virtually been taken over by the Communist movement - without firing a
shot. I sincerely wish that all you reders who hate and/or want to
change the US Constitution would head for Cuba or Myanmar or some
similar socialist/communist cesspool.

Dear Yahoo!:
What's the difference between communism, fascism, and socialism?
In very broad strokes, socialism is an economic system in which "the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy." In modern societies, socialism often attempts to eradicate class divisions. While the word "socialism" is sometimes used interchangeably with "communism," the two aren't the same -- communism is a more extreme form of socialism.
Communism advocates the "collective ownership of property and the organization of labor for the common advantage of all members." While communism is first and foremost an economic system, it's also a political ideology that rejects religion. And just as communism is a form of socialism, Marxism, Maoism, and Leninism are branches of communism.
Like socialism and communism, fascism uses a central authority to maintain control, but "terror and censorship" are common. It results from economic failure in democratic political systems. Interestingly, while socialism and communism are both on the left end of the political spectrum, fascism contains elements of both "left and right ideology" and rises from economic collapse. The most famous fascist was Italian dictator Benito Mussolini. That ought to tell you it's not a good way to run a country.
times "Movietone News" preceded the showing of movies in
every theater. You could count on footage of Mussolini, Hitler,
Chamberlain, Tojo and other political figures posturing for the cameras.
