Leap Second



This is very short notice, as it will happen in about 5 minutes.

There is a leap second this year at 00:00 UTC or 7pm eastern.

A second will be inserted into the official time system to make up for the
slowing of earth's rotation. GPS and other synched time clocks should see the
display go from xx:59:50 to xx:59:60 before going to xx+1:00:00.
