Hi Folks,
I just checked the TV in our Triple-e MH and it's not
digital. Ah, ha, here's my chance to get a new TV. Or is it?
converter maybe? Will digital transmission, in itself,
with a converter, result
in a clearer picture vs analog?
I'd be interested in hearing what group members are
doing if their RV TVs are analog.

After Feb you'll need a converter to convert the digital signal to
analog. Fairly cheap. Coupons from the feds may be available to you.

I have a deep 19 1/2' wide by 17
1/2" high opening. It's built in, up front, in the upper center of a
Class A. Please share your thoughts........ about this,

Wouldn't work for me. My primary computer monitor is bigger
than that.

Sales were being discussed on Fox News this morning and there was
mention of a 50"
Samsung for $800. "limited quantity" of course. I THINK they were
discussing a Wal-Mart store.

I believe we paid that much for a 32" just 2 years ago.

My primary HDTV is a 65 inch rear projection Mitsubishi that I
have had at least 6 years. I got it mainly for watching DVDs
because there were only a few experimental HD broadcasts
at the time and they were at low power. It cost just a little
more than $3900 and sits in my living room. It is connected
to a Sony Blu-ray player and about $4000 worth of speakers
and amplifiers. It has been awhile since I have been to a theater.

It has really been something to have an HDTV for this long and
to actually see the local stations make the transition from low
power test signals all the way to full power and to see them
completely remodel the news studios for HD.

My other TV is a Sharp 32 inch 720P widescreen HDTV that had
already come way down in price in early 2005 when I paid $2450
for it. I just bought a second one like it for $499.99 and gave it to
my niece. I want to get a 52 ich or bigger LCD and put it in my
family room so I can bring my 32 inch back upstairs to the computer
room.
