This is typically what is going on.. People ( both sides ) have no
facts to work with so they belittle a candidate's supporters with
innuendo and insults. Then they insult the candidate with stuff that
has nothing to do with political stands or character ( She wears ugly
clothes or she winked wrong ). Palin seems to be the recipient of
most of this stupidity but not the only one.
The other thing that is going on is the fight that my crook is more
honest than your crook and I will defend anything he does. Or he
supported/did not support some bill that had 100 amendments of which
one was this subject. Look at the bailout bill that gave a break to
the wooden arrow manufacturer .. anybody that voted for it could be
accused of giving away tax breaks and anyone who voted against it could be said to be voting against helping the average American.... Both positions are sorta facts but not really the truth.
We should be demanding truth and honesty from anyone running for
public office and treating violators to BIG fines and years in prison.
Since the average person seems to willing to believe the dumbest
things a candidate says maybe we need some independent group to
monitor the ads and have some very visible place where this is
reported... and somehow make it a requirement that it be reported.
'nuff ranting .. going to get some donuts !!!
