When I connect the monitor and turn on the computer, the on/off light on the monitor lights up blue (OK) for about 10 seconds. I then get a message that the computer is going into power save mode and to press any keyboard key, or move the mouse, or hit the computer power button.

I did, but computer remains in power save mode, the on/off light goes back to yellow.

Any suggestion?

If you have a USB keyboard and mouse handy, plug them in.

The machine hasn't yet "learned" that it has any non-wired peripherals yet.

Once you get the machine up and operational the Bluetooth stuff will work.


I got a wireless mouse and keyboard with my Dell desktop 2 years ago. The instructions with the wireless stuff said to first plug in the keyboard and mouse that came with the computer.

BTW, does anyone know how I can replace a letter or two on my keyboard? The keys work, the letters are worn away. Barry is a hunt and peck typist.
