It is *NOT* a "Jewish" thing at all and, even capitalized, is not the
*name* but a *title*.

If the Ethiopian Orthodox Church is correct, there may be - at most - *two*
people on the planet who actually know the actual *name*.

Don't count too much on what the translators of the Torah have supplied
since - unfortunately for them - the Hebrew Alphabet doesn't include Vowels
and, thus, those translators had to guess at what went before/between/after
the consonants. <g>

Not only is there a Commandment [note the capitalization] against invoking
the name but in Jehoshua's Prayer [aka 'The Lord's Prayer"] the second
phrase specifically proclaims the very name to be revered.
