Foolish me... I should have been checking my right side mirror. The
passenger car decides to pass both of us on the right, by driving on the
shoulder. It happened so fast and unexpected that I forgot to get the
car's license plate number. About 30 seconds later the MH passes just
as the 4 lane comes into view. I caught up to both of them a couple of
miles later at the traffic signal where I was turning anyway.

There's not much you can do when someone passes you on the shoulder of
the road. Just get a firm grip on the steering wheel and pray he
doesn't slide into you. You will never figure out why people do such
stupid stunts.
