"No local law enforcement" is not the same as "No law enforcement
under local control." There is tons of law enforcement in the
Garberville area during growing season, and none of it answers to the
citizenry of the area. All answer to either Eureka, Sacramento, or DC.
Take it up with your local newspaper. They wrote the article.
Don't they know their own city?
Say what? Since when is the LA Times local to Humboldt County? You do
know that it was the LA Times that wrote that article about Arcata,
right?
