Re: Gustav Hurricane

Please tell everyone exactly where Gustav is going to hit in the US!

Somewhere on the rim of the Gulf of Mexico.

As a military trained forecaster, go out on a limb and give us a
final destination, since you've got the storm, "right in the
crosshairs!' HawHawHaw!

It was a joke you dumbass. The satellite picture caught the center of the storm at the intersection of latitude/longitude lines. (If you know what those are. If not, I'm not surprised you were whooshed.)

As I've said here many times, I was never trained as a forecaster. I was a weather observer and weather station manager. What forecasting ability I have and the ability to analyze maps is something I learned on my own.

Are you going to "prove yourself", or just post someone else's
report, after the hurricane lands?

I usually do not comment on forecast hurricane tracks unless for some reason I disagree with NOAA's prognosis.

You sound like some stablehand, bragging about his knowledge of race
horses, while mucking road apples out of a stall! HawHawHaw!

I had a friend in Denver many years ago who made a bundle of money on tips from the stable hands. They exercised the horses and knew more than the jockeys or the horse owners.

Since you're probably too timid, I'll make "my prediction", soon as
I can find a map of the area, and the track of the storm...

It's a free country. You're welcome to review my past hurricane comments and their timing for any errors.

I've always wanted to make my mark on the world as an accurate
forecaster , so if you can't figure it out, step aside, and let a
real "Weatherman" tell the folks where, and when to start running for
high ground!

I doubt you are even aware of the many factors that affect a hurricane's steering but you could always use the "dart board" method.

This must be in response to my tweaking you that my 20 year old granddaughter has already achieved more recognition as a musician than you have. Too bad it hurt your widdo feelings and deflated your ego.
HawHawHaw.
