Hi folks,
After a few posts I started waxing the Commander. I'm putting
303 on the vinyl decals and cleaner wax on the fiberglass.
Then, I remembered I had a buffer. It's a Coleman something or
other and it jiggles and spins somewhat.
It's very light and I can handle it with one hand and it is
better than rubbing by hand.
But my question to the group is this:
1- Do you use a buffer? Id so, which one?
2- Is that Porter-Cable 7424 6" machine at all most 6 pounds manageable on a
ladder and
all the vertical work to do an RV? AND
3- Is it more effective than the cheaper units?
Thanks,

I used a $10 buffer on my entire MH. Worked fine.

Thanks for almost all of your replies. GBinNC demoralized me so much that I decided not to wax the rig............When I'm able again, I may give it another try... (V V B G)
Seems like there is not too much info on the Porter-Cable 7424. It's about $150. Maybe that's why. My little Coleman may have to do for now.
Who knows, if I procrastinate enough, winter will be here....
