I run AVG 8 from Grisoft (<http://free.grisoft.com>)

The -only- issue I had with it was their 'new feature' for web-page link
scanning. the freeware inserts an extra clickable spot on the page (one
for *each* link on the page) and the 'helpfile' directions for disabling
it _don't_work_. there _is_ a way to 'turn it off', but then it bitches
*constantly* about 'one of the components has an error.' There *IS* a
special magic incantation to use when running the *installer* that doesn't
install that component. whereupon, 'life is good' -- it doesn't mess up
the pages I look at, and it _doesn't_ complain about the 'feature' being
turned off.
