I have never understood the Texas penchant for putting mustard on
hamburgers, either. That is just flat-out wrong. People, people,
people...mustard is for hot dogs and ham sandwiches. Ketchup is for
hamburgers. Or maybe a little A-1 on special occasions. Certainly not
mustard, though. And mayonnaise is right out!
Sometimes I think Texas has yet to discover food, and is still in the "lard
and biscuit" stage of culinary evolution. Well, except for BBQ and Mexican.
We do that pretty good.
