What kind of Dodge? Does it only have one battery??
There is only one under the hood and 2 others in the back battery compartment. The one in front is the one being drained.
Although that kind of drain on an RV suggests typical propane detector
drain; you haven't mentioned what kind of vehicle you are talking
about.
Oh sorry, it's the Dodge Xplorer van, an 87 model w/78,000 miles on it. I told my husband (he's out there waxing it right now) to check that detector wire attached to the propane tank.
If your post contains absolutely *ALL* you know about the situtation,
then you will probably need the help of someone with at least a
modicum of electrical knowledge.
That pretty much is all we know unfortunately. We just discovered it. "Something" is draining it and nothing that we know of is on, nothing running that can be shut off EXCEPT perhaps that propane detector. The detectors for the water tank/s are shut off. We have a friend who is a RV mechanic who will be back in town in few days. She, yes a she, may be able to help or make suggestions. Thanks for your suggestion.... he can check that himself.
