What "oppressive environment"? The European tourists I talk to and my friends living in Europe view the U.S. as a wide open space where they can do things that are impossible in Europe. Try finding public access for your boat to thousands upon thousands of fishing lakes. Try finding a free place to fish, period. In Europe you don't walk in a hardware store and buy a fishing or hunting license. Try finding public land to hunt on in Europe. Try finding long lists of real estate for sale.
It was an
enlightening insight into how many Europeans view us.Only the ignorant and untraveled who have been brainwashed by their media.
