I've been sitting here wondering what could have caused Bob to let himself
BE somewhere that cold. Then it dawned on me that I'm stupid enough to be
in Heiskell, TN, where we have had frost the last 2 mornings.
Duh!!!!!!!!!!!
We sat in Florida watching the campground empty out, enjoying highs in the
80s every day, and lows in the 60s at night, and we started thinking that
it's summer. It's NOT SUMMER. When am I ever going to learn????? Our first
spring out, we hit Maggie Valley in April, and got 4" of snow, and here we
are just across Great Smokie Mountain National Park from there, IN APRIL.
Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb.
On a positive note, we are parked right next to Cliff and Marie, and had a
delightful visit with Owen and Jan McKenzie yesterday. That makes it worth
a little chill.............................but this damn freezing crap has
to go.
