Hi Kevin;.. You won't be disappointed with your decision..
I replaced a heavy... bulky... old 35 amp converter with the 60 AMP
PD with the smart thing...I am am sooo happy with it.. virtually
silent!! It is located under our bed...
Neon John referred me to a site on reconditioned PD products.. same
warranty, everything.. significant price reduction.. It has been
doing a wonderful job for over a year now..
Here's a neat point on these converters..
When we had the thread on the cheap Chi-Com gennies for 99 bucks, I
bought one of them... the little *** just snorts a bit and runs the
PD 60 like a champ..
This genny is near as quiet as the Honda when under load.. rattles a
bit when running under no load..
Anyway.. go for the PD chargers.. if you have more than a 1000 watt
external genny I would suggest the 80 AMP.. Gar
Not the 80 amp for his rig. He will be fighting the under dash breaker all the time and never get the batteries charged. 60 amp only.
Agreed.. I don't understand the 'popping' a breaker thing though.. Is this breaker you pop on your dc or ac circuit?? I have max 30 amp ac and max 20 amp dc and mine don't pop with my 60 amp charger.. ???
