Heh! You made the claim but can't back it up? I've already posted the numbers (which you conveniently ignored). Canada came up waaaayyyyy short in the exchange.

As a 'weather man' you should know that there are plenty of places in
the US that have a far more severe winter than where I live in
Ontario.

Yep. And free citizens of this great country don't have to cross any borders to get where we can spend a warm winter.

Ask them if the weather detracts from their quality of life.

It certainly did as my arthritis can testify. I once thought nothing of kneeling on the ice when it was -35 and scooping ice out of my fishing hole with my bare hands. As one ages, things change and we make decisions.

I had a great weekend (and thanks for asking). I re-leveled my patio
which had sunk a little near the house because of the backfill from
the extension. This to make sure I have a level surface for the gazebo
I'm putting in next weekend. Weather was great - about 20 degrees C.
Sunday we had a BBQ with a bunch of the neighbors. Had to throw them
out around 7:00 so we could go play pool in the league. My wife won
and I lost, so she'll have bragging rights until Thursday when we get
to do it all over again.

Sounds good.

We have had the doors on the house open 24 hours a day for the past week. My peach tree is loaded. Flowers blooming everywhere. Low 80s yesterday...... Ho hum... Another day in paradise.
