So, what is your point? Nobody has disputed any of what you write
above, but then again, what you write has no apparent relation to
the discussion so far. Are you trying to argue that France did not
surrender to the NAZI's? Are you saying that all these fighters go
together and prevented Germany from taking over all of Europe other
than the UK?
The point is that your claim of
" If Europe wants to be free, let them offer up their own
defense rather than surrendering like the French did. Perhaps
30 years of NAZI occupation would make them folks a little less
snobbish."
==> yes, I said that, and it is just as correct today as it was
in the 1900's.
was quite incorrect - as have been the vast majority of your blathering.
==> how could that possibly be incorrect. Are you proposing that
if Europe wants to be free, that they abolish all military forces?
Or that if Europe wants to be free, that they covert to Islam?
I think that want I said was about as true as saying that 20 below
is darn cold.
Britain is a part of Europe.
==> I never disputed that.
The British Government did not surrender to any of the Axis powers.
==> I never claimed that it did.
The Soviet Union (now the CIS) - in part - was a part of Europe. (The CIS
still is. <G>)
==> I never claimed that it wasn't.
The Government of the Soviet Union did not surrender to any of the Axis
powers.
==> I never said that it did.
While the Government of France negotiated a surrender, the French People
continued to resist.
==> I did say that France surrendered.
While Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Yugoslavia, Poland, and
Norway were overrun and occupied by the Axis forces, the Governments
relocated to London and their people continued to resist.
==> I never said that they didn't.
Either your ignorance is simply astounding or you are simply a TROLL.
Apparently your definition of "ignorance" means "right on every count".
And you still have not addressed my core point that it is not up to
the United States to be the policeman of the world and have to go in
and bail out these countries every time they get in trouble or cannot
get along with each other.
Since you have not addressed that point, can I assume that you do not
dispute it?
