Heck, small TV's do not cost much more than the converter. So just get a
new TV. And if it is a large screen, is probably already digital
compatible.
It's a combo TV/VCR, 13" IIRC. I had a heck of a time finding one that
would fit into the cabinet in the first place, and I have no desire to
replace it. It's practically unused.
The only reason I'd want a converter for it is that if I were parked
somewhere with no cable service and I needed to check on local weather
or some local breaking news event, that would be the only way I could
use the TV.
Not a big deal. I get along without watching live, local TV *almost* all
the time. In fact, I can't remember the last time I used a TV set for
that.
