text/plain instead of quotable/printable with lines of say 72
characters.

Frank,

you may recall that I couldn't upload from the laptop via BellSouth,
and after installing Outlook it suddenly worked. Similarly, when I
tried to change the settings as per your suggestion above, I again
couldn't upload anymore.

I've now uninstalled Outlook Express and Outlook and reinstalled from
a backup. Have tried to set line length to 72. If I can still upload
this now, please let me know whether line length is now working OK.
