You can rename them and if you do, keep the file extension the
same. Like.mpga in the above.
Or you can just leave them alone and not worry bout them, Let
your Media Player handle it. I leave them as is and when I
drag them into a playlist in Windows Media Player, the 'fuzz'
is gone. Similarly If you drag the funny filenames into a
Burn List for a burner, they get cleaned up.
I recommend the latter Use your media player's library rather
than navigating directly to the folder where the files are stored.
that way you can quickly access stuff by artist or song name.

utility for Tag cleanup, rename files, etc. It is free unless you
