However, when choosing either rig, setup time is important.
I guess Tom would rather argue than think.
Once more: setup time is virtually unrelated to rig choice. We've
had SEVERAL rv's for which "setup" consisted. Of:
Park; Shut off ignition.
Pop-ups REQUIRE some setup -- all others do not unless you WANT to
disconnect toad/trailer, operate slides/awnings/sat dish, hook up
W/E/S, plant petunias, etc.

I'll explain it so that your failure to graduate third grade won't
preclude you from getting it.
My MH. Park. Hit the leveling button. Turn on water heater button.
Done.
You mised the point. Your 5th wheel, pull in, get out, lock truck go into
5th wheel, DONE.
Fer crying out loud, you Tom are arguing for the sake of argument.
My fiver: Park. Unhitch if not level (more often than not). Manually
hand crank both front legs down while checking level. Manually lower
rear stabilizers while checking levels. Chock the wheels. Put wheel
stabilizer between trailer tandem axles. Unpack tripod for hitch
stabilizer. Install with manual jacking mechanism. Manually pull out
steps. Manually light water heater. Manually light pilot light on
furnace. Finally done.
Your statement "ALL others do not" is incorrect.
Tom
