Hey Bob, thanks! I know I myself have very low tolerance for spam, too. I
just wanted to bring the new website to the attention of the RV community.
And, no, it's not all about Microsoft Streets & Trips. There are other
products that have been reviewed: ALK CoPilot Live Laptop 10, DeLorme Street
Atlas 2008, iNav iGuidance 4.0, and now I'm starting to work on MapFactor
Navigator 7. There are two or three other laptop GPS software programs that
I still want to review.
While many people are buying the small portable GPS navigation devices,
which are very inexpensive these days, I think there are still quite a lot
of people around who do favour a laptop solution. The website hopes to be a
place where such users can come and share knowledge, etc. Other GPS websites
cater mostly to PND (personal navigation device), and PPC users. Laptop GPS
World will be all about PC :-)
Cheers, and see you there :-)
