That's what came with my XM Roady. But when I used it in my van, the
tape player made clicking noises, like it was continuously trying to
switch directions back and forth (like at the end of a tape).

Drove me nuts. I bought a Belkin FM transmitter and have been happy with
it ever since. 'Course there's the battery issue, but I've got that
covered. It takes 2 AAA. I use "15-minute" rechargeables and carry a
charger plus two sets of spare batteries. They last for several hours of
continuous use -- probably about six or eight. I've never timed them.
