OT: Online file sharing advice?
I have a friend to whom I want to send some big files. I'm looking for
advice and feedback, positive or negative, about any *free* online
service that will allow me to upload them and then have him download
them from there.
Don't want "free limited trial, then paid subscription." I won't be
doing this often enough to warrant paying for it.
Thanks.

... Your reply is as inexcusable as your first remarks. ... Your callous lack of compassion and clearly calculated insensitivity are exceeded only by your willful ignorance and intentional disregard of the terrible beyond words, dreadfully agonizing, ever-worsening, and seemingly endless circumstances of an incredibly calamitous misfortunethat has severely fatigued, dangerously stressed, and unimaginably distressed Vic to the point of extreme frustration and anger that is easily understandable by anyone with a sliver of selfless humanity, but inconceivable to those narcissistic condescending holier-than-thou offerers of scornful gratuitous advice such as you, you hateful son of a bitch. ... Now you have the effrontery to try to rationalize your clearly scornful remarks as mere behavioral advice as to how to treat others even as you condescendingly pay weak lip service to Vic's problems with a short, dismissive "vic has a tough life" as you, yourself, unwittingly or uncaringly and self-importantly demonstrate how not to treat someone drowning in Vic's sea of troubles who occasionally vents his frustration among social friends and acquaintances. ... Moreover, in addition to mislabeling Vic bitter and hateful when he is only frustrated and angry, you top off your unmitigated gall by attempting the logical fallacy of transferring the issue to me with that "As his friend, shouldn't you try and give him a few words of advice about how to treat others?" ...
