There are as many people who winter in RVs, as there are people who summer in them. Your thinker is wrong. A good RV which is priced right will sell any time of year. He needs to reach those who are in the market.

Lon I do not think your addition will add up. You are correct that there are as many (estimate)folks that winter in RVs, however they are mostly full timers, Snowbirds and might just want a new RV any time. The number of RVs sold in the spring far out weigh those sold in the fall. Basically because you add the new happy campers that intend on summer vacationing in an RV. But they do not do it in the Fall. A friend of mine that owns a camper sales in Columbus MS. routinely lets go several of his sales staff until the spring rush.

Here in AZ the dealers are quite busy in winter. Mesa RV just had a large RV show at the mall in Sierra Vista.

Actually Katrina and some of the other natural disasters have upset or changed the RV sales trends. The FEMA stock pile will also have a big effect on it. I really don't think one can predict what it will do.
Best thing is to try to sell it for what you want and if it does not sell when you want to drop the price or hold on for a while.
