I have always logged (in a small log book kept in my golvebox) my fuel
purchases and the maintenance for every vehicle I have ever had. It takes
about 20 seconds total at the pump.
Can't imagine how anyone could not do it.
My dad did that too. I never did figure out why. Can't imagine wasting
the time.
LOL. What *I* can't imagine wasting is the time it takes to stop for
fuel and then NOT filling the tank all the way. Cracks me up every time
I see somebody buy $10 (or whatever) worth of gas, especially when they
put it on a credit card anyway....
All my vehicles' tanks get filled to the brim, *every* time I buy gas.
Arizona border. I like to minimize my support of the California

Actually, I usually fill up at the Lebec, CA Flying J, then have
plenty left when I get to the Ehrenburg, AZ Flying J. Unless I spend a
day in LA.
