New Mexico 26 Hatch-Deming?

Looking for road info about New Mexico 26, from Hatch to Deming.
Anybody familiar with it?

Specifically, are there any issues with large/heavy RVs on it? Largest
is a 44 ft MH, and we have two sets of MH/toad that are each 48,000
combined.

Normally for a road like this that looks like a pretty straight flat
run we wouldn't be concerned, but it is specifically not a truck route
in the Motor Carriers Atlas, and not clear why.

It looks like a good shortcut on the Albuquerque/Tucson run.
