I can't disagree with it because I am not sure that I understand it.

What the hell is everyone so mad about?

Isn't this just a discussion? I don't think anything is going to be written into law here. Settle down. We are just talking.

You call a flat tax regressive and later say there are no classes here in the U.S. In that case, what does "regressive" mean?
LZ

It means that it hurts the people in the lower income brackets because they have little or no disposable income. And makes no allowances for that at all.

I thought you said you understood this stuff?

By "brackets" you mean the poorer class. Your statement about classless society was an obvious lie. You want special treatment based on class.

Using those pinko buzzwords gave you away again. Tsk, tsk.
LZ

Oh, well, I tried. I will have to put on my pink suit with the big S on the front. Damn, you found me out. I guess I am a big pinko.

C'mon LZ. Call me something bad. I love it when you talk dirty to me.

I thought you wanted to debate current topics?

First you better discover what you're talking about.
LZ

I didn't know that brackets was a pinko buzzword. I think people in the lower income brackets have less money, I don't think they are a lower class.

How, exactly, does one discover what they are talking about? Is that an alzheimers thing? Does one write down what they were talking about, forget it, look at the page and discover?

Why would I want special treatment based on class when I don't think that we have classes, here? What class do you belong to?

Is there a ruling class, a merchant class, a lower class?

Aren't taxes sort of current events? Did they go away last night?

You like to call people liars, don't you?

Feel free, I can take it.
