I need to store an old class A unit

I might be out of the country, so

Sell it.

Find a friendly farmer and offer him half of what the storage lot
wants.

Mouseproof it.

Now that's a good idea I hadn't thought of, thanks. Sell it is another
good idea, except no one seems to be buying her lately, at any price and
mines is very low. I've checked with others too and their units are not
selling either.

Thanks to all who replies, sorry I was not clear in my post. I DO
understand the contracts, but was hoping for some examples of your
experiences with actual practices, since most of the contracts sign away
ALL your rights and give you none in return-the ones I've read. I was
hoping to hear what good or bad experiences you might have had with
these places. In reading these ridiculous contracts you actual do need a
lawyer to tell you what the case law is, because the contracts are so
onerous that they probably won't stand up in court, alot of what is in
them-unconsionable, I think that's the word that is used when a contract
is so one sided and may actually violate statutes and case law, so it
cannot be enforced. It is not a matter of reading and understanding
contract law, it is a matter of knowing what the courts will tolerate
and only an attorney that deals with these matters on a daily basis can
tell you, IF, and that's a BIG IF, HE is competent(many are not).

Funny either no one hear is sharing their real world experiences with
storing rvs or they have had mostly good experiences. Besides even if
the contract is on your side, still often means you must go to court and
icurr expenses and time loss doing so, if a storage operator decides to
shaft you.
