Hi, all
I'm going to go look at a 1984 Shasta (supposedly) in good shape. I'm a
complete novice at this and would appreciate and advice as to what to
specifically look (out) for.
This would be used for an occasional (6-8/yr.) trip both sightseeing and
visiting children and grandchildren (1700 and 3500 mi).
Thank you in advance for any advice you can give me.
6 to 8 times per year, with occasional long journeys, calls for a much newer
rig. A 1984 model is nearly 25 years old, and you will end up replacing
nearly everything within a few years, spending more than a newer, more
reliable model would cost.
That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it. :-)
