These two comparisons just don't work for me. Clinton had
no need to do the things that got him in trouble.
According to a lot of information that a lot of Democrats
in Congress agreed with, Bush made the correct decision
to go into Iraq. Hindsight is 20/20, but you don't run a
country based upon hindsight.
You have to make a decision and go forward with it. Has
it worked out as well as we wanted? No, not even close.
That still doesn't mean that we can just leave because
the situation has gotten tough. I expect our military to
at least play a training and supportive role for many
years to come.
