Your post is one reason I went for the 340 now..... but now you seem
to be saying I should have gotten the 330.

Not at all. I was advising you to get as much GPS as you could for the
money. For very little more than the 330 you got the extra feature. If I
were buying a new one I'd look for that feature. I didn't say it
wouldn't be helpful, I just said I didn't *need* it. (Heck, I don't NEED
a GPS. I've gotten along all these years without one. But I like
gadgets, and the more features, the better.)

What I want next is one that "learns" alternate routes automatically.
That is, if I put in a route and then go a slightly different way from
what she says, the next time I want to drive that route she should ask
me whether I want to use the "new" route that I took last time, so she
doesn't have to recalculate all the time when I don't go the way she
says. That would be a nice feature.

It should also learn about new roads the same way, by assuming that if
I'm driving in a certain place there must be a road there <g> and
"learning" that new road automatically. (I know some GPSes have the
capability of adding a new road, but I want one that adds it
automatically.)
