The only two posters who use the SAME combination of Mozilla/Windows NT 5.1 just happen to be "Interesting Sort" and "LZ"

Is that merely and "Interesting Sort" of coincidence?

I'm using Netscape 7.2 and have for years. I've used Netscape or an early variant since early 1998 when I first stumbled upon it.

Compare any of my headers to those of Interesting Sort. No resemblance.

I don't post through Google Groups and never have except for a short period many years ago when my news server was dropped by my ISP.

But you certainly could if you decided to shill for yourself. It's very easy to set up faux accounts from a number of different sources.

From the headers:

From: Lone Haranguer linusz@xxxxxxxxxxxx

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 Windows NT 5.1

From: Interesting Sort peerless-plonker@xxxxxxxxxx

UserAgent: Mozilla/4.0 Windows NT 5.1

I bet we even have the same number of feet.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_agent :

When Internet users visit a web site, a text string is generally sent to identify the user agent to the server. This forms part of the HTTP request, prefixed with User-agent: or User-Agent: and typically includes information such as the application name, version, host operating system, and language.

Didn't his path go through Prodigy? I only mentioned Cox because that is what you were using in THAT post and I wanted to see you sputtering.

I'm sure you are well versed in making anonymous posts and using fake personas. I'm not since I see no need. Unlike you, I've met RORTers personally, so there would be no point.

I'm not going to argue anything with you that you can't justify. I'm just reading the headers (as I was instructed to do).

Looks like you are operating on a very low level of evidence. Better hire an expert.
