You should have learned by now that when you're careless about what
you say, you're quite likely to get called on it, and trying to put
down the person that called you on it doesn't help a bit.

You might be surprised at how much technical expertise exists among
the contributors to this newsgroup.

Seems to me that you should learn to read al..... a ping is NOT a webpage
with links, and the original q was about surfing webpages, NOT a controlled
ping... and many pages have lots of links (average about 30-50), so while
30-50 times 733 isn't a full second, its a whole lot more than just 1*733...
and he didn't say all were 1 second, he said some webages with lots of links
can take up to a second (just for fun look at the source for the initial
page at www.smartmoney.com close to 800 links!)
