When I moved to AZ, I kept the same plan, (on "travel" status) even

buy major medical by itself here.

IMHO, all plans should have people paying their own doctors office
visits. I don't understand why people are willing to pay $200 per month
extra to avoid paying $200 per year in doctor bills. Paying for the visit
would make people think a little about cost. That would be a GOOD thing.

Same reason you carry auto insurance when you're a damned good driver.
In the off chance that you do have an accident/develop cancer, you'll be
glad you have a good insurance policy to cover major expenses.

Well, now I understand. Like you, they don't understand that insurance
that doesn't cover "office visits" would cover that stuff.

You just can't justify paying $200 per month extra to have doctor office
visits covered. Of course, the insurance companies feed on ignorance like
sharks.

OK...I getcha now. I can't find a policy that covers major med without
covering office visits. But I am not in the market for an individual plan.
I am buying group plans to cover my employees. I get whatever they get.
The cheapest ones seem to cover everything...but provide no choices. You
have to stand on your head, wear a yellow shirt with black socks and wave
your left leg in a circular motion to get a consult. But at least we are
covered. LOL
