Need Carb rebuild info for a GQ 4000. Starts and runs fine, even with
a small load on it. However, turn on the AC and it bogs down and dies.
Any suggestions??????
Does it also die with other large loads on it? Like a few 1500 watt
heaters? If not, then it's an AC problem.
Mine did that after staying in a low voltage campground. It brought my
Onan 6500 right to it's knees. Installed a start capacitor and fixed
it right up.

Will run fine with the fridge and lights. AC, Microwave etc. bos it
down and kills it. Worked fine last year.
Do all that and then add two or three ocffee pots to the combo. If the
generator still works...you probably have an AC problem. BTDT. Generator
was fine before...but when I finished rebuilding it it was even
better...fresh coat of paint...quiter...but still didn't operate the AC.
