Do most 5th wheel owners carry an auxiliary generator along on their

If so, where is it stored when not in use?
Which type/model is the most popular?
Thanks,

Many of your better 5th wheels have space for a generator already built
in. A propane powered generator was a $5,000 option with my 5th wheel.
We went for 2 years without a generator, but we bought one, a Yamaha
900 watt invertor/generator (quiet) last year. We did it because we were
going to be dry camping beyond the ability of the batteries. The most
popular generator is probably the Honda 2000 watt quiet invertor. They
seem to have come down in price the past couple of years.
We store ours in the front storage compartment next to our little table
top gas grill. Some people store them in their pickup, while other buy a
tray that hooks into the rear receiver hitch and store the generator
there; locked up of course.
