Yeah, as luck has it, when we BOUGHT this MH there was a BIG chip in the driver side WS. Buddy Gregg in Knoxville replaced it as it was a condition of buying rather than "patching" the chip. They put the WS into place, THEN told us "Oh yeah! We have to keep the coach immovable for 24 hrs.
About chips, I've had those things fixed, and you could not tell where it was. But in FL, a guy "patched" a nickel sized ding, when he got thru, it looked like someone stuck gum in the hole! He came inside and told me "I have to bump the WS to set the glue." As if I didn't know what he was doing, in FL if a WS is CRACKED like mine is now, the insurance co. is required to replace it with no deductible. I won't have dings patched there (FL) again. :-)

Hopefully it won't leak. I had mine replaced in Las Cruces, NM. It never rains in Yuma but it rained enough to tell me my windshield leaked. Sooooo, the company came out to Hidden Shores and slathered goop all over it. But it still leaked. In St. Cloud, MN it leaked again so they slathered on more goop. Still leaked. So I took off the inside trim and did my own gooping. Finally, no more leak.
