places like Walmart and Home Depot closing them out for the summer.
I bought a ceramic unit for $10. BTW, many of the roof AC units can
be optioned out for an electric heater. Check out your particular model.
I have an RV AC unit in my community access remote TV truck. We
had Camping World install and later had them add the heat strip. I can't
say what it cost because the bill went directly to the town bean counters.
Obviously more than the $10 - $15 for a portable unit, however, if you
don't want a portable heater kicking around, it is a nice option.
