It's not uncommon to have an RV, of any size, (other than the big, diesel
pusher converted buses) to be capable of only carrying a couple of thousand
lbs of additional payload when fully equipped.
Or even less. Also, "additional payload" includes not only your
clothes/food/dishes/bicycles, but also fresh and waste water in the
tanks, factory installed optional equipment, full propane tanks, etc...
