Thanks to everyone for their input. I guess we will stick with Streets
and Trips. I will get the update this year as soon as it comes out. Now
I will start looking into GPS units. I know that Streets and Trips has
one that comes with their program, but not sure if that well be the
best. Time to start the serious research.

The main reason you might need a freestanding GPS as opposed to just using
your "GPS Locator", is if you don't want to have to use your computer to use
your GPS.

If using your computer to GPS is not a problem, you should be fine.
